OMG, I can't believe they sued and won. That's horrible. How did they get into a head on collision anyway? There's gotta be more to the story.

It would seem as if you would be rocking a H22A to be saying some shit like this. Your swapped gsr B18 engine is by no means superior over any B16A. Besides the little extra weight and torque, the performance potential between these two engines are almost identical. Get over it.

actually id take a gsr over a h22a
way too heavy of an engine for auto-x

i thikn the gsr is also better than the b16a in many ways. and i think there quite significant.

The H22 is really 35 LBS heavier than the B16!
Here's a link to end all the H22 weight arguments...

thats still a difference, thats the reason you dont see many h22 auto-xers. same reason my friend isnt putting his h22 in his hatch that he had in his sol. hes using a bseries instead. and hes even building it for drag.

Performance potential is not identical between a b18 and a b16.

and it's not exactly a GSR. As soon as the credit card is paid off a bit more, I'm buying the type r head for the type r block. I'm staying all motor. I will make a 12 second all motor car.

i have a gsr swap in my sol. i had a little guy pull up to me the other day in a 01-03 civic ex that ran up on my tail when he had the chance to go around me i noticed he was turbo. cause i could hear it spool and then as he was passing me he blew it off on me. so i slowly speed up so he doesn't gain anyon me. i rev'd at him and he took off so i did to and smoked him. so i would have to think that you could have done the same. i pulled about half a link from the start. then i hit fourth gear and i totally ran off. i pulled about three links on him total. i have a few mods other than the swap but we went from a roll too. so he was already creating boost, so it was much better for him. i wouldn't have even raced him had it been from a dig.

You're nuts. The B18C weighs a only a few pounds more and has a displacement difference (1595cc vs. 1797cc, 202cc) that will shame any B16A mod-for-mod.
