Default How To Paint This?

Ok on my EH3 there a black tirm piece on my door right up close to the window seal, but over the years it has chipped and become black. I want to paint it black again. Is there anyway to remove it from the car so I can paint it?

I have a similar problem, but mine had black paint which chipped off and became chrome/stainless steel colored.

I think that's what he ment

It's a common civic problem..that and the windshield wiper arms

Get a can of Krylon flat black spray paint and mask it off REALLY GOOD. Just take newspaper and some masking tape then go to town. I'd sand it a bit first though...like a 400 grit then a 800 grit after the first couple coats I wouldn't risk taking it off. I think it's glued on or something

Use the flat black trim paint. It works a lot better than Krylon, and is made for just plastic/rubber. It looks a lot better, and dries faster.

I would paint it with a brush before I covered my entire car with overspray.

No brush.....I didn't get any overspray on my car when I painted my tails. It's all in the masking,
