shift linkage question
yes, i searched first but couldnt find the answer, so im askin the civic gods for help. im puttin a '93 b18a1 block with a '98 b18b1 head into my 92 lx. can i use a 93 teg shift linkage (because i found one for cheap)? also, i know this is more of a teg question than a civic, but are the headers the same for the two models? this is the setup (i think i gotta pretty sweet deal):

The linkage needs to come from a 3rd gen teg, 6th gen Si or a del sol vtec because of the length. It reaches the correct distance back to hook up to the shifter. the 2nd gen teg is shorter, if I'm not mistaken, so you would have to reposition the hole in your floor, make a new console, etc. And that would just be retarded... It's that, get the right linkage in the first place, or get the 2nd gen one and cut and weld.
