if puss equals spending a ton of money on blown engine...then call me what u will.....i call it intelligence. And also....whats ur definition of "preping your car for turbo".....I didnt really want to build the bottom end but to get the full effect of a turbo...lowering compression so u can fit more air. Im just lookin for info here....and a crew to share good and bad experiences...so I might not screw something up. There is nothing wrong with caution ragerized!

im just saying i know guys who run boost on ls engines with stock internals with no probs at all. you just can get all boost happy. what i meant by prepping your car for turbo is like buying turbo exhaust, fuel pump, fmu, and building the engine...pistons, cams, rods, sleaving the block, etc...
im not saying dont use caution, but dont be paranoid.

Like i said, i have seen many horror stories...such as the ones posted on www.homemadeturbo.com , they are too funny though.

haha i know, LS motors are stout. I'm just joking with txhatch cause he used to have a lsturbo hatch and i'm friends with him.


and steve....i bought my car with a sohc if you wanna pay for me to get a LS then by all means

LS engines are very boost friendly, they can usually hold 10psi on a t3/t4e with no problem as long as there is decent tuning.

they can hold 13 psi on hondata daily driven on pump gas.
