If your tranny is already grinding, no fluid will properly fix it. The damage has been done.

umm wrong,...some people experience a slight grind going into gear at high RPMS sometimes,..sometimes it grinds sometimes it doesnt,..ive seen on numerous accounts of people draining the old (and sometimes not enough) tranny fluid and putting some fresh tranny fluid in....and that solved their grinding problem

noooooooooo

90 weight gear oil and stuff like redline shockproof will KILL a honda try. The idiots at the tranny shop that put in my si tranny used that crap and my tranny took a crap in a year. My friend's dad who help me put in my new dx tranny said it's the absolute worst idea ever for a honda tranny. He's a certified honda mechanic at a local dealership and he said he's been changing trannys all his life from people putting in wrong fluids.

Just run the honda synthetic stuff or 10w30 mobil 1.

make sure it's the 30 weight stuff if you use redline not the 90, i think they do make a honda specific tranny fluid but don't use the gear oil.
