I dunno man, I have driven a 96 EX with a JRSC on it, along with the basic bolt ons, plus ignition. it was pretty powerfull. It was runin a mid 14. But, I figure my car weighs like 3-400 pounds less(HATCH) so I don't see why my car couldn't hit a low 14. The only reason I am not swapping anything big in is that this is truely my daily driver, and I have no option on not having a car for a few days or a week. I have to have it to go to college. Plus I have a daughter that lives 2.5 hours away from me along with my girl. So I can't afford to take more then like 2 days to do whatever I am gonna do. I have never swapped a B series motor myself. I have swapped several d16z6s into CRXs, and stuff like that. I have even done a ZC. I just figured a Z6 head with some boost might be enough to piss some people off until I graduate from college and can get a decent job that pays more then 600 bucks every 2 weeks in like 9-10 months.
I just have only heard disappointed reviews of the jrsc...but if you want to do it, then it is all you...but for the close to the same price you could swap it...so why not wait those 9-10 months till you are done with school, and swap it then...plus by then you will have even more money saved up, and you can put on go fast goodies

JRSC is sad for D-series motors.

Ok, I've got a 98 dx hatchback with about 98K. It runs nearly perfect and is clean as **** throughout. The oil never turns dark hardly at all even after 3000 miles. Well, I have a cat-back, header intake, basically all the common bolt ons. Well, I need more power. I am gonna order a Jackson supercharger for it, as well as install a d16z6 head. I also want to apply a NX nitrous kit. Wil the motor hold??? Does anyone have similar experience with a D series motor. Can anyone see problems with the head swap?? Should I prpare the block in anyway that will help. Maybe a block-guard or something similar??? Thanks for any and all input

yeah, it sounds like your application, you want turbo. The JRSC will ****ING COOK itself at 12PSI.
And nothing sucks like being addicted to boost,a nd realizing you spent a bunch of money and aren't even happy with what you got.
