Default Fitting radials on my sol

would i be able to fit nitto 555R 235/45/17 tires on my sol? i have a 1.8" drop

I dunno.... 235's might be too much.

I ran 205's on 17's and had some rubbing issues.

Yeah, the widest I'd go is MAYBE a 215... Lowered, that much, 205's would be way better. if you do a 215/40 you might be able to swing it...

also this car will hardly ever be driven around town. to car shows, track on the weekends, and maybe to school once or twice

Show cars should never be driven to school. That's just asking for trouble.

I've got 215's on my Sol now. I don't have much for rubbing problems, but that is mostly because I have an adjustable coil-over, rather than just a straight spring drop.

i dont have a wheel well on my front? would that help? who has the best drag radial: falken, bf goodrich, or nitto?

the major problems are the inner fender in the front, the tires rub back behind. And the rears love to rub on the fender lip.
