Yeah, I drove a '77 Camaro with a 350 and a 4 speed for three years through Utah winters and I did just fine. The manual may have literally been responsible for saving my life on more than one occasion though :nervous:. Naturally the camaro isn't a winter car but even with 200lbs of salt in the back, front wheel drive seems to be way better.

The TL has a ton of miles on it. That's also the very first of that generation sporting a new 6 speed. If you can deal with a transmission repair, I'd go with the TL.

I didn't know this. Thanks for the heads up. What typically goes wrong with them? Syncros? BTW, this is a manual, not an auto.
