Probably thought this was a WOWYH thread. Sorry bout that . Wanted some help choosing a car. Please give me your opinion:

I've been mulling over TL's and TSX's for about a year now. I've test driven about a dozen of each. I'd take either. I love the handling of the TSX but love the balls the TL has (no homo). Also, anyone here ever purchased a car through eBay? Any tips? It's difficult to find any sort of selection of manual TL's and TSX's locally so I've resorted to eBay though I'm a little reluctant to purchase a car I haven't driven.

To be honest, I've been using cars.com to shop for cars in the states - more selection than eBay, prices seem realistic and it is mostly dealers. That being said... I haven't driven a TL - just a TSX, so I'm not qualified to make that decision... lots on here can though.

I would be all up on the TL. It's the Navi model and the body style that I want (wish I could have bought Jay's from him). Though my ultimate TL is the type-s.

I haven't driven a TL, but I'm inclined to go with tsx: lower miles, most reliable honda out there. V6 and a stick might be pretty fun though. :hsdunno:

I'd love a type-S as well but it's out of my price range.

Oh, it is. The best part is having plenty of power/torque in nearly every gear depending on speed. Whereas with the TSX, you have to be much more picky in selecting gears if you want the power. There's much less torque at anything below about 3000 RPM. The TSX is much more nimble and light though. Weight is more evenly distributed and roll is much less noticeable than the TL with a big heavy V6 sitting in the front. I'm leaning toward the TSX for this reason alone. Moving up from 150hp in the Accord to 200hp is plenty of a jump for me. But dang, the TL is sweet.
