Erik (canada) and I went to the gym at least 6 days a week for 2-3 years. I started off pretty small (weighing 155lbs, benching around 135lbs 3x8 reps a 160lb max) and got up to weighing 187lbs and benching 225lbs 3x10 reps with a 285lbs max (I probably could have pushed 300lbs but never tried it).
