get a remington 870 for cheap with whatever barrel you can find at a pawn shop then buy an 18.5" barrel and slap it on. takes 2 seconds.
i paid 170 for my 870 w/ a 28" barrel and spent 100 on an 18". you won't find an 18" for less than 270 unless youre lucky plus you get the 28" barrel for hunting and skeet.
I did notice that it cost a lot more.
the winchester speed pump, and the mossberg are reasonable. the tactical is like double the cost of the other ones.
good point about having both barrells, one for hunting and skeet the other for home protection. thanks for the tip.
