Yes the torque is bad. Have you ever driven one? It's gutless below 3500. The top end is fine.
Yes, I've driven one and the torque really isn't that bad below 3500RPM's
I guess it's opinion based.
Many people I know with the V6 complain about the top end. especially since the 4cyl manual can keep up with a V6 up to about 100mph
