Wiseco is definitely an awesome piston...that's what I'd go with.

As for the Eagle rods, I've seen some handle some good power, and some fail. Most people were sackriders when they came out, and then a few people had problems with them...so now people hate them. EVERY rod is going to have horror/failure stories. Look into the ImportBuilders rods, they are supposed to be really good for an inexpensive rod. They also sell Wiseco.

I'd also look into a decent port job for your head. It will make a HUGE difference in your application, at that kind of power level. Valvetrain...crower, rocket motorsports, whatever...not a big deal unless you wanna spin some serious RPM. Make sure you grab retainers too.


To the guy who said Wiseco is shit...I'd learn a few things before you go callin out shots like that.
