Thanks for the info on July 4, I will keep that in mind. I don't mind spending around $500, but Sears jumps from the one above up near $800. Can't find other reputable brands within my price range. DeWalt is very high for the same specs, I think they specialize in portables. Ingersoll Rand has nothing < 1k.

I keep running across campbell hausfeld, but they seem too cheap.
