I have a cable modem that works just dandy when connected directly to the wall outlet via a coaxial cable...but when I try to use a 1-->2 splitter to also get my TV to work, the TV work work but the modem can't connect it will 'receive' but not 'send'. I've tried different coax cables but no luck. Bad splitter or am I missing something? The splitter is brand new.
