I ran no plates for the first 6 months I had the trailer. The laws here are real lax on trailer licensing so you can get away with it for quite a while. I have to pass through Cali and enter Nevada and neither of those two states is real lenient about these kinds of things
michigan is the same way
half the time we just swap the plate with valid tags around on all the trailers....noone ever says a word
