I think i should find somewere that has tuned with ITB's first befor i order them. Which will be quite hard in the UK i think.
And i was thinking of getting a 4.7FD insead of the standard 4.4.
Are they worth changing?
the software is very similar to hondata. if they can tune hondata, neptune shouldnt be very difficult. but yes regardless of this, you need someone with experience tuning itb's.
personally i would go as high as a 4.9fd for even better acceleration. downsides to this would be a higher cruising rpm unless you mix and match gears from other tranny's. if you can live with this go for it.
i was just brainstorming the other day of a tranny with b16 1-3, gsr 4, ls 5, 4.9fd, and an lsd. this would give nice acceleration while having reasonable cruising rpm's.
