Another alternative to porting and polishing the intake manifold is to have it extrude honed. If it were me, I wouldn't bother unless you ran out of things to do and wanted to squeeze as much power out of it as possible.
Here is my list of to do's:

B18c4
itr pistons and con rods
skunk 2 stage 2 cams
doubble valve springs
4-1 headder (not sure which one yet)
port and polish
310cc injectors
(i keep on thinking im missing somethin)

Do you have any susgestons on what other things i can do when the engine is appart? (i want to do it right first time)
