That was for the older Oddy. 99-00 the newer ones already had a fix so the holes in the manifold were bigger. therefore no need to drill out anything
From what I've heard, even if you drill out the EGR ports on a J30A1 and do the "fix" the problem still reoccurs. So it's worth a shot, especially since it costs nothing to check/clean.
