Yes but he easily had two more years in europe before his eyes even looked at the N Americas or S America. His army was also feeling the pains of a long standing war before we entered with morale dropping and supplies hurting a bit due to the greed of the higher commanders.
So whether he could have sustained another two to three years and then another overseas battle in the Americas is very questionable.
i would say more than two years in europe...south would have been the next stop as we saw, and it would have been smarter if he just continued that way.
morale was slipping, but i believe he would have been able to continue...fear is a powerful motivator as well. and his troops knew what happened when they didnt do what they were told.
As for russia, i dont think they would have been a viable opponent without the entry of the US. Germany was pushing very strongly at the russians and they gained their most ground once the US enterend and took pressure off of the eastern front
