liebermann won as an independent after the democrats decided not to back him and then were outraged that he would choose to run as an independant. i have a lot of respect for this man because it shows hes not all about the party. if the democrats would have backed him they could have had another seat, granted they still will as im sure liebermann will support the democrats for the most part.
yeah, i'm very pleased that lieberman stayed. parties completely aside, lamont would have been an utter disaster.
