yep, chafee (R-RI) was ousted, and he basically stood against bush on everything.
so what is the difference between a "civil union with the same benefits as marriage" and a marriage? Sounds like people are just upset about the "title".
Meanwhile, heterosexual divorces are in excess of 50% in this country...but of course that doesn't corrupt the definition.
let's not get into a debate over this, but to a lot of people, myself included, strongly believe that marriage is and has always been a sacred institution between a man and a woman.
