Toshiba/Vaio are good from personal experience.....not sure about other brands.
See I have a Toshiba and I don't like it. My battery is shit. Lasts 35 minutes doing nothing on it. This was when I first got it.
I told her about the Wal Mart sale, but I guess shes heard bad things about Compaqs. I have no beef with them. I kinda like them. How are Dell laptops rated? Customer Service?
