I'm using my stock wiring harness (b7) with a z6 head. I used a p28, too. You have to wire up the VTEC solenoid though, which will require a cheap harness that you can buy for like $20, or fabricate yourself for even less. It just accomodates a plug for the oil pressure sensor and the actual solenoid.
