My problem is I got 12 volts up to the cap, but not going out through the wires, I am about to take that back and get a new one?
Does your ECU flash any codes - its under the passenger side rug where the feet go.
write back if you found your problem
You need to check the ignition coil and ignition control module. I had a coil one burn out on a 98 civic right after replacing the cap, rotor, and wires. It ran for 2 mins then the car died and would not start. Check the coil for burn marks on its casing. You need to get you hands on a multimeter and test the coil for the resistance on the primary and secondary coil. If that checks out, then test the ICM.
