Ok, I had a problem (i had a different member id) with a winsock problem that necessitated the COMPLETE removal of IE. If all else fails, you should be able to do the following & that will get it out.

1. Uninstall DUN and Internet Connection Sharing (Do not reboot).

Howto uninstall DUN: Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs->Windows Setup tab. Uncheck Communications and click ok. DO NOT REBOOT.
If that doesn't work... your probably lookin at a reinstall of windows.
