p/s surging/cutoff in autox

Default p/s surging/cutoff in autox

on the shakanes(sp?) that are short and slow, my power steering cuts off horribly. can hardly steer. is the electric ps pump the only way out of this?

Yeah I have to deal with it. The power steering pump just cannot keep up with the fluid sloshing around.

Or, as was the case with some police Crown Vics, the engine rpm dropped too low that the belt running the power steering pump couldn't pump supply the demand...
