so has any one driven a RSX type s and a TSX that can compare them?

handling
acceleration
highway driving
comfort
etc...

 

not sure on handling but i think i would give acceleration to rsx
hiway to tsx
comfort hands down to tsx
tsx also has technology which includes navi, bluetooth, 6disc changer, and potential dvd movie playback

...i know the engine is larger but the HP is the same and the TSX has more torque (i think)...does the TSX have more potential?

im not lookin to make a race car...but i want to be able to do a full exhaust eventually...

like i said im not looking for a sports car, or a whip your head back fast car either. im just looking for a luxury sport that has some kick to it...

the looks of the TSX with the euro style front grill are pure SESSY!
but every one seems to say that they are not that fast and underpowered...

can you compare it to somehting else...maybe like a 2001 Prelude, Scion TC any other car with a 2.0-2.5L 4 cyl engine.

regardless it has to be faster and more powerful then my Integra LS (91)


im leaning towards the 2005 TSX in Blue deffinitly 6 speed....

 

i think by far thats the most popular complaint for a tsx. its underpowered but u get rewarded with other luxury features instead.
i traded in a 05 tC (5MT) for a 07 TSX (5AT).
so its not a true comparison but i think the TSX would pull away from the tC. i also had a 99 Si that would pull away from the tC. the tC had a horrible top end pull. the vvt-i doesnt kick as much as vtec or i-vtec on the top end.
it'll be faster thatn ur 91 ls for sure but probably even against a rsx.

 

i strongly recommend you go for no older than an 06
the 06 introduced a few new features such as bluetooth and MID

A lot of other people told me to include the IS300.

so right now its between them...

like i said im in no rish to buy...i want 8-10grand cash before i buy anything..

i have 3500 now...

as far as Blue tooth and Navi those dont intrust me. i have my own navi unit and blue tooth can be installed later on. (its what i do)

i wish i could afford 2 cars so i could get a tsx/IS and a sports car again.

so whats your opinions of IS300?

FWD and RWD cant really be compared in handling, but they both seem to do well in their class...

i think u hafta set a price range first bud.. i dont think a used TSX and a IS300 are in the same ball park....
never been in a IS so cant help ya there. but do get a 06 TSX if u consider it.
dont doubt ur install skills but OEM navi and bluetooth > aftermarket
ever think of the civic si sedan? just a thought to save some $$. its got the power, navi, and itts pretty comfortable...

 

when the time comes ill want to spend a MAX of 25000$ ....

ive been finding 2002-2005 IS300 from 15000-25000
" " 2004-2005 TSX from 16000-27000

so they are about the same price range...

spending 2500$ on a navi system is crazy..i have a garmin...


i dont want brand new brand new, just brand new

i think the IS300 is a better bang for the buck but the TSX has a nicer looking body lines ( stock form)
