04-06 differances
So I am thinking about getting a used tsx, I am considering all years 04-06. an 05 seems the most reasonable as they are cheaper than 06’s but less mileage than 04’s
But the big lure for the 06 the Bluetooth, and the aux line.
I was wondering if it’s possible to add the aux line to an 05, then I would just be without the Bluetooth and I could live with that.

The TSX has built a strong following among sports sedan buyers, won a plethora of awards (including being twice named to Car & Driver’s 10Best Cars list) and gained a reputation for being both stylish and fun to drive. For 2006, Acura made some dynamic changes to the TSX to enhance its performance, make the styling even sportier and increase interior comfort. The result is a sports sedan that is more luxurious, more aggressive-looking and even more fun to drive.
Modifications to the intake and exhaust systems were made to the TSX’s 2.4-liter i-VTEC™ four cylinder engine to boost horsepower to 205 hp SAE net (Rev 8/04). Interior enhancements include an upgraded navigation system, the HandsFreeLink™ wireless telephone interface, and a digital media auxiliary jack located in the center console for iPod® and MP3 players to name a few.
Outside, the TSX gets sporty, redesigned front and rear fascias, new sidesills, redesigned alloy wheels and standard integrated fog lamps.
Powertrain
Horsepower increased to 205 SAE net (Rev 8/04) @ 7000 rpm
Torque increased to 164 lbs-ft. SAE net (Rev 8/04) @ 4500 rpm

Increased intake and exhaust flow
Reduced engine pumping losses
Chassis

Pre-06 can have aux lines and bluetooth, but you have to buy and install the components. 05 is better than 04...some of the 04 problems were resolved (rattles, etc). 06 is the best, but if your budget is the priority, then 05 will be adequate.
If you wait a while for the 07's to reach the dealerships, you can get a better deal

thanks , good info guys. Good to know i can install it , that was one of the main reasons i was conisdering an 06.
I drove a pair at the dealer over the weekend . One was a 2005 auto , with 23k on it , I have to admit it felt under powered . I currently drive a manual 1999 prelude. I then drove a 2006 manual and was much more pleased. I wanted auto casue i sit in traffic everyday to and from work, and the manual i have now gets annoying , but the 6 speed just felt a lot better. It's really a tough choice, I did not expect that much of a difference.
