the TSX is a nice car.. my mother owns one *only becaused i totalled the focus zx3 i had and i ended up w/ her 97 accord and she got a 04 tsx. i think they handle pretty well, and drive quite nicely. as far as a Type S, i haven't heard anything. But, essentially, the TSX is a Type S, over in Europe, it is an Accord Type S *you can search on ebay.co.uk, and look up accord euro/type r and you'll find it* every little thing is the same.. except it has the "H" symbols and not the "A".

I think that most of us know the CL7 is sold as an Accord ROW and TSX USDM.

The Accord ROW still has the 200 HP K24, though, right?

It's very easy to get another 20-40 HP out of that K motor, and that's a big chunk of what the USDM Type S rumour's about. We know it's easy, and we know the pre-market cars are driving around...so we hope it'll really hit the market here.

i'd stick with the k series motor...the aftermarket capabilities and hondata just make it something to look out for in a year.
