in your opinion what is the best way to launch your car(manual)

 

depends on the car/tires/surface condition etc.

at the autox i usually try to launch with enough wheel spin to help me get around the first little 90degree corner so i can be full throttle for the first straight section.

I never side step the clutch and just modulate the throttle

 

i do 3000rpms and then feather the clutch to avoid wheel spin, but it all depends on the track, conditions, etc. if there is a turn right at the beginning then i will do a 3500 rpm drop and spin around the first corner so like the person above i can be full throttle at the end of the turn.

 

I usually try to launch ~2k RPM on my car, don't tend to slip the clutch much, and just modulate the throttle in 1st gear since on anything less than R tires [which I've only been able to run once] on my car, 1st gear is so short that it'll break traction above 3k RPM.

So like everyone said, it depends on the track, car, and tires. Just play around till you're comfortable and pleased with how the car reacts.

 

Is it good to launch at your max torque peak?

 

thats what I try to do... if I can feel my clutch slipping a little I bump it up to 3500... generally, theres no wheel spin until I get into the first corner, a little lift through the corner and I'm off.
