Actually he's pretty fast in his Magnum. He's actually going to purchase 18" Hoosiers!

It's called late braking. You'll find out what it is if you autocross. I do it all the time which is how you become faster and one with your car. Knowing the limits of your brakes and tires.

I know if I wait even a 1/2 second longer in my car my tires/brakes will lock up and you just go straight. But I don't and I brake just in time for the corners without going into the grass or off course.

Yeah, I autocross every chance I get... but It didnt look like he was braking at all, nor turning. His head was still pointed straight ahead. Meh, oh well.

What kind of times were the others running? How about the magnum?

Its weird how people can control such huge beasts, but some people can. There is a guy here w/a mid/early 90's s/c thunderbird... hes got hoosiers, but i think the suspension is stock, but he controls that rolling heap of metal like no other.
