Where do you guys get all of this knowledge?

Get your hands in there and learn. Use shop manuals and don't be afraid to ask a lot of questions. Personally, that is what I have been doing--magazines are very useful-I clip out the articles that interest me because they usually have good pictures of the project. Otherwise, you will find that reading these boards is a great way to learn what you need to know.

Sweet, I actually just started creating my own binder of tech. articles as well as other important things to learn. I thought it'll be cool to read it over and over and over when I have additional time on my hands as well as a cool thing to pass down to my kids in the future or someone interested in cars as much as I am. I mean I wish someone has a binder that they can lend to me.
