That is why you always try some stuff at an autocross. It's almost 2nd nature now since you DO want your car to rotate, but sometimes I go a little extreme on my settings and then you have to back it off a little.
Oversteer on course at an autocross and you may hit a cone. Oversteer on the street and you might total your car or kill someone else.

There seems to be an autocross event this Sunday at Washington Redskins Fedex Field about 30 minutes from my home. But I can find very little information about it. It just says "test event at Fedex Field (AX)". Any idea what that means? At what time would it be? The event is held by Washington area SCCA.
Also, on the topic of helmets, are they one-size-fits-all or do you have to know your size? Would it be OK to buy one in a motorcycle store?
Thanks a lot

You would have to contact the President or Chairman of the DC Region to get answers.
For helmets you need a M2000 or SA2000 or better helmet. And no one size does not fit all. Some of us have big heads
And it's actually best to try a helmet on before buying, but every company is a bit different. My SA helmet was a medium and fit me fine. I tried a medium motorcycle helmet on and I couldn't even fit it over the crown of my head. Had to get an XXL
