SS brake lines and fittings. Sizing help needed
Hey everyone, I figured this was the best place to post, since most guys in the autox are precise about their brakes! Instead of buying a kit, I plan on buying teflon coated stainless braided line, fittings and just doing it myself.
(BTW, its a 98 integra gs-r stock calipers)
My questions are:
1)Does anyone reccomend/know which size ss line to run? I've heard 3an or 6an
2)Does anyone have size specs on the banjo bolt style fitting I need to sink these lines into the calipers? Do the front/rear differ in size?
THanks!
Ken

WARNING: This is not a do-it-yourself build!
Depending on the car-you can buy a pre-made set that are DOT approved. It is very important that you use these if the the car is a street driven/daily driver. Otherwise, you risk NOT passing your state's inspection for one thing. Another reason is that the Goodridge and Russell lines have been properly tested and certified for each application. Do not attempt to plumb a brake system on your own-there is a considerable amount of engineering involved to make them as safe as possible.
