question about resizing high mp pics

Default question about resizing high mp pics

i know with high res mp cameras, the pics are huge, whats the best way to resize it to 640x480 without loosing the details and stuff? should i use photoshop?

Yup
Should resize it and keep its integrity with no problem.

Always start with huge images and resize from that for just that reason.

He is not reducing pixels with resizing :doh:

He is merely shrinking the image which keeps its integrity during resizing from a larger picture to a smaller size....if he were to take a small picture...say 240x 150 and resize it to 720x480 then it would pixelate but not the other way around.

It's sometimes refered to as Anti-alising.... make the picutre bigger and then resize it... keep the quality of a high rez picture with the smaller size and space taken up.
