But indeed the damn 2JZ can hold 500whp without much modding. Build the damn thing and have 1000whp. Supras unless the chassis is heavily, HEAVILY modded are big fat dyno queens and highway marauders.

Yeah I can't see how you'd be able to use all that power. I know a person in TX that has a 700hp supra but he tracks his car regularly. When he does he turns the boost way down so he only had about 450hp.
you just can't use that much hp on a street car on the track without serious modification. which would basically turn it into a full blown race car

I'm pretty sure the only type of racing with a Supra where you would even want to try to put down that amount of power is drag racing. The curve would be way too peaky to navigate a road course.
