And yes, i know you guys dont know my whole situation, i dont know any of you on here personally, it would take too long to explain it, the divorce crap has been going on for over 8 years now, and plenty of other stuff before that.

I know where he's coming from. My parents aren't split but my dad was and is never around because his job takes him all over the place. My mom doesn't work so my dad made all the money.
then once college started, i had enough saved, the car was paid off, so i took it upon myself to spare my dad (and mom) from forking out the 4K/semester for school, then there's books, food, rent, insurance, etc - all that i put onto my shoulders.
however...recently, i haven't been able to find work so my accounts have been dwindling. then my dad and mom decided to intervene and help me out a little so i can get back on my feet. my roommate and friends say "god, your spoiled" because my dad sent me an $800 check for one months rent, food, and misc. What assholes....meanwhile their parents pay everything of theirs
i'll never understand this society.
