Default List some good beaters(cars)

My parents thought i wouldn't need a car for college and sold it and got themselves a new car.

Trying to talk to them now about helping me get something super cheap so i can drive it around here (for classes off campus and shopping for neccesities.

i've looked into the late 80's of hondas, and some old 240's.

This car will be driven like onlly 2-5 miles a trip...i dun plan on bringing it home 300miles. Whats a car that can do this, automatic and under 2g's

anything but eclipses (dsm's), they're super bad

I had an 87 dodge colt station wagon I coulda sold you for a few hundred. After I cleaned the carb and replaced distributor cap, it ran like a charm.

I have an 89 Accord hatchback Lxi that was great in the snow up here in PA for a couple winters. It needs some work but it runs well.

Just make sure you get some good quality tires for whatever car you get.

:werd: Go to the local DEA / FBI Auto Auctions.
Many fleet Crown Vics show up, from taxi firms that default on their financing. Super cheap.
