what about that one crx that had a mercedes/ something else conversion done to it that is still primered black i know someone posted it on here once i nominate that as the ugliest crx

 

What was funny is the guy who owns here and saw the thread I beileve. Unless it was a joke.


The woodbody kit was pretty ugly itself.

 

no not that one that one did not have wood body kit on it i remember he had z-3 fenders and a mercedes headlight conversion and some kind of wierd bumper

 

some of you people have too much hate...its alot of hard work put into those conversions...just cuz you don't like it you don't have to bag on it...as for my opinion i think some of those cars look pretty hot but some just don't go right with those conversions...

you guys are fawkin dumb.. those cars are beautiful pieces of hard work... i'd be droolin all over those if i was there.. holy shit they are very cleanly done... i want rear shots of teh crx.. the way it looks the wing is molded is nice as hell... those are NOT rice... those are masterpieces..

 

so they spent a lot of money to make the civic look like a neon:doh::eekjerk:

:down: too square, the natural lines of the car are eaten up with caked on fiberglass and it looks tacky IMO

Pointless HL / TL conversions.
STOCK MOTORS (where applicable)

Applying my priorites [clean, understated design combined with plenty of grip, body control, and a healthy dose of actual performance] to the above equals a :eh: at least, if not a :down:

As far as the C-class civic, I can think of many ways to spend the thousands of dollars it took, that would result in a better looking, cleaner hybrid.

The 5th gen Accord looks so embarrasingly cheap, particularly due to the HL conversion it's just awful.

And while the execution and quality of labor on the yellow CRX may be better, the design choices made are poor. The hood / front bumper look too heavy, and the overall form of the car is ruined by the bulbous fibreglass wheelarch extensions.
