Just because a show car is a winner at shows doesn't mean im gonna like it. I don't give a fucc how many trophies a car has won, if it's ugly it's ugly, simple as that.

what i don't understand is why people bother spending so much money on something they have to trailer around all the time. you can't even enjoy the car half the time cause you're too worried about getting it dirty.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder. looks are subjective. seriously, if i was a 9 year old kid, i would've though that those cars look ****n awesome and would dream one day yof owning a civic to make it look like how i want it. but now, of course, its not my taste. its flashy, and too out there, ive matured. if one of those cars, strolled by a mall, i can assure more than a few heads will turn to see it and freak them out. they are eye candy for the general public who dont know much about cars. they win shows and judges like them as well as the high school chicks. seriously, it'd be pretty boring if we all had stock cars lowered, there will be no originality to it. these guys cars stir up the imagination and they deserve props for taking the time out for every mod(unlike ricers with unpainted body kits). seriously, you guys should at least respect the work that went into the quality. saying comments like "its a waste of a honda" and "its a piece of shit" just make you seem more close minded. its his car, let him do what he wants, if you think its a waste of a honda, i hope you buy all the hondas in the world and put em in your back yard so they wont be "wasted"

 

and let me guess, you drive a show car, endorse them, produce them and know allllll about them right???
since you're soooo knowledgable about show cars and the wisdom behind them, please enlighten me about understanding show cars... i guess i really don't know anything about show cars since i've never driven a show car and never worked on cars. :chuckles:

btw, after going to many car shows and talking to the owners, you start to get a feel of who actually works on their cars and who coughs up money to get it done. the ratio is very depressing!!!! i can only remember a hand full that did anything themselves, so my statement holds true. :thumbup:

This is a public forum, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Nobody is right or wrong in saying what they think of those cars.
Myself, I think those cars suck, but thats my OPINION. I do give respect to the shops that made them, thats a lot of work and craftsmanship to do that. Sure, some people call it "rice" or whatever. The owners of the car went to the trouble/expense of doing that, and they got the results they wanted. In their OPINION their car looks good.
And they are SHOWCARS, and probably couldn't even turn 20's in the quarter, but some people aren't in it for speed. Myself included. I feel that drag racing FWD cars is retarded, thats why I AutoX, baby!!!

(PS- its a bungee cord holding the door from swinging all the way open....)

you talk like ur just the show car professor or something. How many show cars are in your garage? To say you don't drive show cars is just plain ignorant. There are tons of people who drive their show cars, not daily, but driven none-the-less.
