So I was at Costco pumping gas ($1.85/gal - w00t), and this dumb bitch in a Mazda 929 is in front of a CR-V, which is in front of me. After a few minutes, the CR-V pulls up to the pump in front of the 929, so I pull up behind the 929. The lady gets out, swipes her Costco card, then swipes her credit card. She selects the grade and starts pumping. A minute later, the trigger clicks back (all the while she is holding the trigger in place - normally you would flip the latch to keep it there, right?). Thinking the pump is done (but broken), she puts the nozzle back in place and the receipt prints. Here's the funny part. Dumb bitch goes in and re-swipes her Costco card, re-swipes her credit card, and starts pumping again. She didn't learn the first time either. She keeps her hand on the trigger, and a minute later it pops out (wrong positioning will make it do that). DOH! She swipes and pumps again!

All the while I'm texting my friend about this as it's going on... I look back at her and she motions me over to the pump in front of her (CR-V is finished). I'm all "wtf..ok" so I go in front of her, do my thing, and start pumping. I look over and I see a receipt at least a foot long. That was probably on the fourth pump. HAHA! I'm done filling up, and she probably decided to give up, since the pump probably only gave her about $5 worth of gas.

Stupid people offend me.

Really, I wanted to tell her that you could use the latch provided to keep the nozzle open. Too bad I felt like being an ass today. :chuckles:

and why are their pumps so confusing? ours you just select the grade and pump it, without all this credit card and reciept jazz..

I don't get it. When it stops its full right? So how come when she did it like 5 times gas didn't pour out of the damn tank all over the place?
