Default reversing late fees...?

Alright. Here's the deal. I called my credit card company and spoke to a rep. I told her that my payment will be a day late. She said it would be okay and that a fee would probably not be assessed. Well, I got my statement the other day and noticed a $35 late charge!

Has anyone ever gotten a late fee dropped? I'm going to call them again tomorrow, but would like to formulate a strategy by then.

Let me know! Thanks!

Pay your bills on time.

Okay. Turns out that they couldn't drop the fee. The rep I first spoke to, didn't note my account. So, when I called, they had no idea what I was talking about and declined my request. A lesson learned...

Reps never do anything... I remmeber trying to cancel a credit card once...and a month later after not using the card...I get a bill...so im like "Ok...this should be the last bill"..

Next month arrives... ANOTHER BILL!! so i call again...ok...lady says they are gonna cancel.....

This process repeats until by the 5th month i threaten to consult my lawyer of this matter....

After that..no more bills..
