since my mom had a brain tumor removed more than 5 years ago...things have never been the same. That gets me depressed, then all the shit that goes on up here at school gets more even more depressed. I can honestly say there is nothing good in my life.

I started running. I even wanted to try and think of some things that were bothering me and shit... but I couldnt stay focused long enough to care.

Been There, done that. I broke off a friend (not gf), went into depression. I needed to hear from him, "he is over me". the moment I heared that, its not that bad. V.strange - i tell you. How this works. Just miss sometime the "friendship" I had.

Anyway, you do get over it. That is the right advise though:
Change ur life. your friends/habits/anything to everything you can. Keep yourself busy with something that you like and is positive. Reward at the end of something is the biggest incentive to keep doing it.

Yeah, if you try to keep busy you won't have time to think negatively. Helps a lot.

i suffer w/ it. not on meds, but seeing a therapist. i've had it since my Dad died, but wasnt diagnosed till a few months ago...makes for a very difficult time when dealing w/ life's daily problems and issues...
