yeah, Dre's fucking it up. I'm sure there may be a couple of songs on Big Boi's CD that I'll like. But I don't get why they're doing this shit. I know everybody's gonna say "So they can change it up and be different"...that's fine, but tell them to stop sucking. They had an excellent thing going with ATLiens and Aquemini...then the started screwing up again with Stankonia (4 good songs do not make a good CD).

 

I hate rap. It's talking to a beat. I mean ... shit. I could rap. Where is the talent in it? :dunno:

You guys have opinions, and that's fine. They obviously aren't making music to please the masses, they like it, and that's what matters. I happen to like it myself.

The key is having talent and being good at it, anyone can say words that rhyme, but can you do it in a way that tells a story and make sense, and affects the mood of people when they listen to it? I'm sure you can, just like I could run my fat ass up and down the basketball court for 2 freaking hoursh:

I liked it when MTV was mostly rock, except for Yo MTV Raps, and BET was all the rap/hip hop. Now though you can't turn on MTV without some sort of show on, or TRL, or direct effects or something like that. Unless you happen to turn it on at 12:30 and they have actually good music playing.

I like a lot of the old school rap, but I can't stand all the rapping about bling and bitches... it's too fake.

Electronic music is getting better as the years go by. The sound is getting fuller, clearer, and producers are really starting to push new things out. I can't take late 90's house/trance.......it all sounds cheesy compared to the stuff coming out today, even though I liked it back then.
