who makes better laptops? HP or Toshiba?
my friend is looking into one of them desknotes(17')
only HP and Toshiba makes them right now. anyone know which makes better laptops? the price difference is about $100. HP cheaper cuz of rebate. The reviews i read online said HP is better

I think HP uses Compaq in their laptops... my friend works at Compaq/HP in Texas and he tells me NOT to even consider picking up a Compaq-- ANYTHING.
Not sure about Toshiba, but I have a few friends that love their Dell laptops. They are getting cheaper and cheaper with all their deals.
