Default Learn me about Spain. Wong, Estrada, and others who have visited that country

My wife and I are planning to hit up Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia for 2 weeks. But looking through Will old spain pics I might change the city destination. I like to learn about the history and enjoy the architecture and scenery. What cities should I go to and what should I do? We also love to eat so suggestion of where to eat would be nice.

Went to Italy last year with the wifey and absolutely loved it. Hoping we can have that same experience in Spain.

I went there for a family reunion about 14 years ago. It was awesome, but we were in the rural parts because that's where my family is from. Can't tell you much about big cities.

Toledo is bad ass, and it's a day trip from Madrid. Buy yourself a sword at the armory and then try to take it home on the plane

I've been to Sevilla, Madrid, Toledo, Barcelona, Cordoba, Granada and Costa Del Sol. The highlights for me were the Alhambra in Granada, the old city at Toledo (was the capital of Spain during medieval times) and Barcelona is just a cool city.

Asturias. There wasn't much to do, but I do remember being in a lot of bars, and clubs at night. they party all night, which is why they have siestas. I remember one night we went to a club and left at 7am and it was still packed with people.

If youre going to Madrid, you might as well hop on a train and hit up some of those cities

I went to Madrid, Cordoba, Sevilla, Toledo, and was supposed to do Granada. All of those cities are beautiful. Everywhere you go, especially the smaller cities, youre going to see some nice architecture. Be sure to check out the churches / cathedrals. Amazing. I am not much of a night life person, so I cant speak on that. But I remember Madrid being pretty busy at night.

I saw Real Madrid and it was crazy. The whole atmosphere was nuts.

I really feel like everything I am saying I said in that other thread
