Blah this has gone off subject, but I know many people with DSM and have never had a reliable prob with there car, and it seems like alot of people throw around "crankwalk" to much when discussing a DSM. it doesnt happen to everyone. I guess thatsw the point I was trying to make. But I'll admit whne Im wrong and I am about this, sure it happend just not to all

:edit: I guess this can be atributed to be being a pitbull owner

IE: when someone says my dogs are dangerus because someone has been attacked by a pitbull, not all pitbulls will attack you, just a few ruined the whole batch as far as repitation go's

Nothing ever happens to everyone, but if it happens to a good amount I'd say that's a problem. Granted there are always fluke things that happen....anything can happen when you are pushing a motor to it's limit.

You guys are all unreal.....i cant believe this is being talked about in a honda forum. Why is the GST being singled out? The AWD has the same motor too just different drive train. Every car has their factory flukes......rx7s motors are junk, 95-99 eclipses are known for crankwalk...and hondas motors are turds out of the factory....the nsx which is their "exotic car" is the slowest car. Im not talking shit on hondas because there is a select few that are actually respectable but most of the hondas on the road are riced out and give imports a bad name. Honda motors are def reliable and are geared more toward all motor.....but the reliablility goes out the window once you throw forced induction on. I think you guys need to discuss your own problems with your own cars instead of worring about cars that are out of your league. My 99 GST has about $6500 in performance mods and i havent had any problems.......EVER! Over the winter i am switching to a 1g motor but crankwalk doesnt happen as much as you ppl make it out to be. But back to the question " how do the gsts run" if anyone wants to come find out.....come to belle vernon pa and throw your pink slips out because i could use another beater car for winter.

by the way this isnt flappy188.....i just used his name to post this. One

My impression was that the older ones were quicker because they weighed less, but I don't know. I don't follow Mitusbishi.

yeah the question of what does the GST run stock has already been answered. thanks and this is a honda-acura board but this forum is the basement aka off topic. and guess what I'm a mod here but I don't even own a Honda/acura.

so it's all good. and your are such a big man for wanting to race us for pinkslips in the 1/4mile.

The level of misinformation contained within this post is just unreal. It's discouraging to read stuff like this, seriously.
