well Im sorry for you, but you cant take one car, not make and model, I MEAN ONE CAR, and think bad of the rest, I used to own a 93 civic, Completely stock besides a K&N filter, and exhaust, one day while driving down the road the car started over heating for no reason, it turns out the block cracked for NO APPERENT REASON, but I dont hold a grudge against Honda because that happend to me, nor do I think the reliabilty is bad, if crank walk was such a bad prob why is it that there are so many DSM's on the road today? if there reliabilty was so bad wouldnt you think every one would have suffered crank walk at least by now? there 5,6,7,8... year old car's, if it was such a relovent prob then these cars shouldnt be working any more. I just dont see the point on saying the realiability is so bad

Umm, the Eclipse is notorious for crank walk...not just one car...but the make and model. Go read up on some DSM forums.

Yeah now you are taking words out of my mouth.

and I never said that all Eclipses were bad either.

often times the average customer may not know what the problem is so the dealer just fixes the problem and the customer pays for it.

and for the record I didn't say that reliability was so bad. show me where I said that?

if you put bigger than a 2100lb clutch in it then it will come on faster. (crankwalk)
