Death - your thoughts on what happens
It's inevitable. No point in being afraid, I feel.
Am I afraid of dying?
No.
I am afraid of dying in some horrific fashion. But death it's self.. I don't fear.
What are your thoughts on what happens after we die (This has been covered I believe.. but a long time ago... I want fresh input)
I have a very strong sense of pagan spirtualuty. I believe souls are recycled. Basically.. reincarnation. I believe reincarnation helps makes up who we are and what we're into. (Along with astrolicgical alignment.. but that's another topic) At times, I think one life may have been a young boy, who died at an early age. Another life... a cat. (Yes.. a cat) Another life, a person living in the mid-late 19th century in Europe. This may seem like it's coming off as hippy bullshit and that I'm crazy. I just have a feeling as to what I may have been, by my beilefs and outlook on things in my life.
I think our souls learn from our previous life.. and then move on to the next, making each life more and more complete in the search for what is truly important in this life/world/universe.
Well... what's your thought on death?

What happens upon death..... eeeeew. Sticky subject. My cynicism wants to answer rigormortis. Some days I believe in reincarnation. And I agree with your logic on souls cycling into other bodies. It's far out there. But, I too, could imagine myself having lived in another century.
Heaven and Christ? St. Peter? Who knows....
Heaven and Christ? St. Peter? Who knows....
My only fear of death is leaving behind unresolved issues with people I love or care about...and the fact that it would be sudden and unexpected. I would prefer to prepare for my death but only God knows how that will happen.
Once I am dead I will meet St. Peter at the Gates of Heaven and then go on in and see the rest of my relatives and friends that have passed before me.

Well for me I am grateful for what I believe in. Coming from a background where my family studied the scriptures (Holy Bible and The Book of Mormon) I was able to form some of my own beliefs.
For me I believe that we will ressurected as Jesus Christ was since that was a gift to all from him when he died and was ressurected Himself. From there we will be judged by Him and Heavenly Father. There is more after that but this is the jist of what I believe. I wanted to keep it basic for those who aren't familiar with what members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) believe.
Its interesting to see other peoples points of view on this subject. I wonder how they came up with them?

I absolutely believe in reincarnation. I don't know if it happens right away (you die, and at the same moment, a baby is born somewhere). I'd like to think that we get an afterlife vacation of sorts.
I have not decided what happens, part of me believes in reincarn. other part does not.
If eveyone is recycled where is the rest and relaxation which should be after death- harmony, beatiful gardens, angels etc?
On the flipside shouldn't you get the opportunity to come back and do it again?
